What do you do in your job?
Working with CashWare and on the Software Development team offers a unique insight into key aspects of the daily operations of financial institutions. Zachary has two main responsibilities that support CashWare’s goal of being efficient and user friendly. First, Zachary helps actually write code for CashWare. This code helps CashWare communicate with cash recyclers. Without coding like this from Zachary and other members of the Software Development team, CashWare would not be able to function properly with cash recyclers. His second responsibility is helping the CashWare Support Team diagnose and fix customer issues. Zachary can navigate support issues with extensive knowledge of CashWare, and Benchmark's showroom has a variety of cash recyclers that can help Zachary pinpoint the exact issue and provide insight to the CashWare Support Team. How long has Zachary worked for Benchmark? Zachary first started his career with Benchmark in 2018. He had prior experience with coding and was a great fit as a Software Engineer. Before Benchmark, he wrote code for Audio Visual Automation. This was an easy transition because his efforts also focus on helping automate cash environments with CashWare. He even has a favorite device, the Hyosung 500 TCR. Offering help wherever he can, Zachary has excelled as a Benchmark team member with great communication skills and a great attitude. His teamwork with senior staff on large projects and interactions with the CashWare Support Team showcase his exceptional talent and professionalism. Success Story Zachary offers much needed support from behind the scenes, so interacting with customers directly does not occur too often. His success story revolves around the team he has built connections with. He notes that the team at Benchmark is fantastic. He admires Benchmark’s commitment to constantly striving to improve our product by offering support for brand new technology and implementing updated features to improve customer experience. He offers up this quote about Benchmark’s staff and their drive to keep our customers happy: “Our staff is very dedicated to offering our users the best possible experience when working with Cashware and its related products.” Hobbies outside of work? Board games, video games and fan conventions are all in Zachary’s wheelhouse. He enjoys playing Kingdom Hearts and Halo for video games and indulges in spooky board games with friends in his spare time, like Zombicide and Betrayal at the House On Haunted Hill. Dressing up for conventions, also known as Cosplay, is something Zachary enjoys doing with friends and other fans. He even has been known to make his own costumes! Zachary isn’t all electronics and conventions. He is a big fan of social dancing! You can find him on weekends and some weeknights partnered up and dancing the swing, Zouk and other favorites. Favorite Food? For Zachary, nothing beats burgers. He just loves them and even adds that you can get as simple or as fancy with the burger, but he loves it all. He is even open to different meat and veggie options for the burger. It sounds like this man is all about a burger! What are you watching these days? Some newly added shows to Netflix have Zachary excited. He has been watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and Avatar the Legend of Korra. These two series are related. Avatar: The Last Airbender follows the reemergence of an Airbender, while Avatar: The Legend of Korra happens several years later examining the predecessor to the Airbender.
