“Cross County Bank has had such a positive experience using Benchmark and their cash recycling middleware software, CashWare. We started a pilot program with a competitor and were unable to get the product working after 5 months of testing. The product and our recyclers did not work well together, and our tellers always had issues balancing and completing transactions in a timely manner. Over the five months, we were given the run-around with their support team and finally I had enough and ended the relationship.
Cross County has had a long-standing relationship with Benchmark, so the hardware reseller and I reached out to pilot CashWare and see if the issues we were having with the other product could be resolved. After testing their product, I can say CashWare is leaps and bounds above the other competitor’s product we piloted. Not only did CashWare actually work with our recyclers, but the other features were nice to have as well. The interface is much more user friendly and straightforward. Doing a simple process is easy with CashWare because of the simplified steps. Compared to the slowness of the other product, CashWare is very quick at populating the information into EZTeller and allows our tellers to much more quickly process transactions and serve our customers.
Before installing CashWare, I was skeptical of the cash recycler technology, and when the other product was not working with the recyclers, I thought this project would not move forward.
