 Northbrook, IL, April 17th, 2023 – Digital Check Corp., a leading provider of image capture and payments processing technology, announced that Preston Herrin has assumed the title of President of its Benchmark Technology Group subsidiary. Herrin formally joined the company on January 30, following a two-year consulting engagement assisting with the integration of Benchmark and Digital Check, as well as with the launch of the combined company’s Avivatech® software group. He previously held executive roles with Drummond, 4Over, Inc., and most recently owned and managed HCG Inc., a management consulting firm that has helped multiple leadership teams through growth and performance planning, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Herrin possesses more than 30 years’ experience in sales, marketing, corporate strategy, and business optimization. “As an accomplished business strategist, and as an individual who has helped Benchmark through a major transition with excellent results, Preston has a track record of success, and is a natural choice to continue the company’s forward momentum,” says Jeff Hempker, president of Digital Check Corp. “I have full confidence that, as president, he will drive organizational efficiency, and execute the strategic planning and growth initiatives that are critical to our future.”
Herrin, who will be based out of Benchmark’s headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia, says he is excited to come aboard as a key figure in an organization with bright prospects for future growth and innovation. “After two years of involvement with Benchmark and Digital Check, this transition stood out because both organizations had clear paths not only for sustained growth, but also for product and market diversification into related fields such as software.
